"Ping 17 Test Media" is a confidential internal Microsoft utility
disc which was left inside an Xbox 360 when it was sent back to a
customer after RRoD repair.

Please note that this disc will not run on iXtreme firmware as-is.
It's an exception to the SS authoring date rule and has 2nd wave
PFI/Video when iXtreme expects it to have the 1st wave versions.
This is the same reason why backups of DDR Universe (the only
other known exception to the rule) will not run on iXtreme.

If you want this disc to run on iXtreme you will need to patch the
iso with PFI_739CEAB3.bin and Video_66D0CB54.iso from the included
ind-ping-1st_wave.rar, but note that this is not the proper
PFI/Video for this disc and you should use it at your own risk.

Also, be aware that this disc will attempt an internet connection
to LIVE/MS, and will halt if it can't connect. Use at own risk!

Bah je sais lire l'anglais (enfin du moins je comprend ce que je lis ^^) mais quans il y a ddes termes un peu trop technique et quand du jargon est employe sa deviens vite du charabia ^^

Sinon avec une traduc google ou babelfish ou yahoo sa donne un truc de pas tres tres correct mais comprehensible pour les grandes ligne mais je voudrai juste confirmation ^^

c'est un cd de stresss utilisé par crosoft pour faire tourner ta console en 1/4 d'heure comme si ca faisait 6 heures que tu joue.

ca leur permet de tester si leurs réparations du rrod sont bonnes.

Ce disque, semble t'il, serait utilisé pour les consoles sortant du SAV, afin de pousser la console dans ses retranchements et tester sa fiabilité, un test de connexion aurait également lieu.

donc en gros si ta envie de tester le fiabilité de ta console tu met le DVD dans le lecteur et t'attend qu'elle te fasse un joli ROD.
Avec une console qui a au moins un an c'est quasiment sur qu'elle fasse un ROD.
