Dipstar : Comment ca marche et c'est quoi ?

Boujour tous le monde,

Alors voilà je suis nouveau sur la scène NDS, j'ai fait très récemment l'acquisition d'un M3 Perfect SD. (Merci metashop ^^)

Je viens de faire une recherche sur le forum mais j'ai rien trouvé sur l'utilisation de "DIPSTAR" et ses fonctions.

Alors c'est pour ça que j'ouvre ce topic afin de réunir toutes les infos possible et d'appendre à s'en servir en vue de faire un tuto.

Je suis sûr que pas mal de monde serait interressé alors si vous avez des infos n'hésité pas.

J'espère que grace à votre aide je vais pouvoir m'en servir et en apprendre un peu plus le cheat DS.

Je viens de trouver un petit tuto pour l'utilisation de dipstar sur M3 ca tombe bien c'est le même linker que moi.

1. Download the DipStar complete package from the M3 / 3rd Party download section
2. Copy dipstar.ds.gba to your CF or SD card
3. Copy the downloaded dipstar.ds.dat from the cheats exchange to subdirectory "GAMESAVE"
4. Make sure your DS rom is already patched to work with DipStar. To do that, drag&drop the ROM from the memory card onto m3dip.exe. Also note that by doing this the game will need DipStar preloaded in order to run, even if you don't want to enable cheats.
5. Put the card into the M3 and turn on the DS
6. Select "dipstar.ds.gba" and press A (nothing will happen apart from a short blink)
7. Choose the DS game you want to cheat and press A
8. Press A again and _quickly_ press and hold the button for the cheat you want to activate. Hold the button until the game has loaded.

How to use : In case of M3-PerFect

1)Writes DipStar
Write "dipstar.ds.gba" on to the memory card.
Use M3 game manager. (Use [Write GBA] mode).
makes a SAVEFILE(dipstar.ds.dat) in the GAMESAVE folder.

2)Triming the dipstar.ds.dat(1024KB->129KB)
M3 game manager creates a 1024 kilobyte savedata file.
But, it is enough at 129 kilobytes.
Download : M3-Saveman2 v140 english here
1.Select memorycard and EditMode:GBA.
2.Presses the [Convert NDS1024KB->257KB GBA1024KB->129KB] button.
>&gtThe filesize decreases in this and the start-up becomes fast.

3)Boot DipStar(CODE EDITOR)
1.Start the M3-PerFect.
2.Chooses a GameMenu.
3.Chooses "dipstar.ds.gba" and presses the A button.
4.Chooses NDSROM and presses the A button.
5.Continues to press the L button while loading.
>&gtThe code editor starts up in this. Input the cheat-code.

4)Boot DipStar(CHEAT MODE)
1.Start the M3-PerFect.
2.Chooses a GameMenu.
3.Chooses "dipstar.ds.gba" and presses the A button.
4.Chooses NDSROM and presses the A button.
5.Continues to press the
A or B or SEL or STA or RIGHT
or LEFT or UP , DOWN button while loading.
>&gtThe code of the slot of the code editor is executed.

== Warning ==
Please check a [CHEAT CODE] option in M3 game manager.
DipStar doesn't start up if meeting and not being.
(You may use m3dip.exe).

@Possible to use MS-PerFect?
Yes, supported formally in Firmware 19(E19/J19 etc..)~.
1.Writes "dipstar.ds.gba" in the CF/SD memory card (Use M3game manager).
2.transfers NDSROM to the memory card(use M3game manager).
3.Boot M3-PerFect.
4.Set a cursor to dipstar from the game menu of M3 and press the A button.
5.Moreover, set a cursor to NDSROM and press the A button.
6.Presses the any button with the load screen.

@The button and the effect

<CODE EDITOR MODE>
Please start while pushing [L button].
The operation method is written on the screen.

<CHEAT MODE>
Please start while pushing ..
[A, B, START, SELECT, RIGHT, LEFT, UP and the DOWN button].
These buttons are the same as <CODE EDITOR MODE>.

R button = "SLOT UP&DOWN(7&8) compare mode.
Details are written later.

Possible to use "Ultra fast mode" only for M3-PerFect.
Should continue to press the "R button"
with the A, B, START, SELECT, LEFT, UP, DOWN button.
(SlotA:A+R SlotLEFT:LEFT+R etc..)
In this, the boot-time becomes 1/4 (8sec->2sec!)

DipStar permet d'utiliser des codes Action Replay avec un linker.

Mais moi j'ai pas de M3

Pour l'instant je vous mets les infos brute comme je les trouve je commence à capter le système je vais tester voir ce que sa donne si j'y arrive je vous pond un beau tuto

Keylogger --> le M3 n'est pas nécessaire à l'utilisation de dipstar, il y a d'autre linker compatible. Je me suis focalisé sur celui là car j'ai le même ...
La méthode doit être sensiblement la même avec les linker compatible

PS: Je vais tâcher de le faire tourner et de vous faire un tuto car on en parle nulle part sur le forum, je pense que ca va être utile aux cheaters comme moi ^^
