Mortal Kombat 2 was supposed to land on the PlayStation Network in March, but for whatever reason,
Sony Online entertainment wasn't able to deliver the goods. The company's issues a new press release promising an April 12 drop date for the violent fighting sequel, however, and participating will set you back only $4.99.
The actual gameplay hasn't been touched in the conversion process for release on the PlayStation Network, but the PS3 version does add online multiplayer and dedicated leaderboards to keep track of everyone's virtual progress.
