Adam Metcalf and Thomas Hawcroft have released the very first binary version of their on-going HDD development bootloader named PS2MENU 2.0 (attached below). It allows you to run HDD-enabled applications directly from ANY HDD installed on the PS2 just like the DMS3 allowed booting those apps from the HDD. Their aim is to eventually give users all of the features that the DMS HDD project offers but to those who don't want to pay the outrageous price for a DMS3 chip. Currently it only supports installing applications by first loading PS2Link (also attached below) in order to use its host0: function.
