"hi guy. i've a solution for all your problems. there is a simple way to not fall in the sony's boobytrap... haven't you ever tryed to stuck ONLY the switch near to on/off button. this can be easily made by a little piece of tape without opening the consolle and voiding the warranty. the internal sensor doesn't detect the tray opening if you don't lift it up over 1,5 - 2 cm. try it out! i know that if you have "big hands" the operation became hard but with a little pratice you can do it without problem... i'm playing my backup games without problem and when i need to play original games i remove the tape from the first sensor and turns on my pstwo with the tray opened resetting the time of the boobytrap!
