You could also look for the Perfect Series Rip of Shenmue1 on the internet, it got the motorcycle cdda track. You could see what hacks ahve been applied to the files.
I presently don't have the time to paly with shenmue1 as I'm downsampling files from shenmue2, but as soon as it'll be done i'll take alook at it. It should be something obvious that we just can't find, as it always is :pasmafaufe8:
