The more observant of you may have noticed that the version number
of the new firmware has been increased from 2.0 to 2.1.
This was mearly a mistake in the original naming of the file. It was supposed to be 2.1
no changes have been made to the firmware itself,
so there is no reason to re-download or re-flash your chip
if you already downloaded '2.0' yesterday. Sorry for the confusion!
d2e compatible version of d2pro on its way to distributors - 2008.07.15
A new version of d2pro (identifiable with the blue 'd2e' sticker)
has now been released and shipments are on their way to distributors.
d2e drives have already started to appear in the Japanese market,
and it is likely that they will be appearing in other parts of the world soon.
